Left Field NYC’s New Appointment-Only Store is Worth a Visit

Left Field NYC, home of the finest in Americana clothing, just opened up its first shop, and you have to see it for yourself.

The brand has been in business for over 15 years, but has only now found the right venue and time to open its flagship store located in Ridgewood in Queens, NY. The grounds, originally a sweater factory in the 1970’s, is just dripping with authenticity and couldn’t have been a better match for the image Left Field portrays.

The space houses both the Left Field and Choctaw Ridge, a high-end line of menswear undergarments, collections, and even has an original Union Special chain-stitcher for alterations on-hand. The interior itself is pretty dope, too, with antique fixtures, memorabilia, two fully operational vintage pinball machines (free to play, of course), and a large selection of vintage gentlemen’s magazines.

Access is currently through appointment only, but schedules can be made very easily via phone or email. Hit them up, charge that Metrocard, and plan your next weekend up to visit this new brick and mortar.
